What is dough?

dough is a recipe intelligence platform built for food creators — food bloggers, recipe developers, and cooking influencers — who use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to grow their audience and sell digital products.

It adds food-native superpowers to your Kit account: a structured recipe library, AI-powered recipe import, beautiful recipe cards inside Kit emails, dietary preference segmentation, engagement analytics, and a digital product builder that turns your recipes into ebooks, meal plans, and recipe card packs.

Who is dough for?

dough is built for food creators who already use Kit to email their audience. If you write recipes, develop food content, or teach people to cook, dough gives you the tools to turn that content into subscriber growth and product revenue.

How dough works with Kit

dough is a layer on top of Kit. It does not replace Kit or send emails on your behalf. Instead, it enhances what Kit already does:

  • Your email list stays in Kit. dough reads subscriber data and writes tags and custom fields, but Kit owns your list.
  • Your emails are sent from Kit. dough creates broadcast drafts and sequences in Kit. You review and send them yourself.
  • Your payments go through your existing platform. dough publishes products to Stan Store, Gumroad, or LTK. It never processes payments.

Think of dough as the recipe brain that makes Kit smarter for food creators.
